May 18 Ivy Pull with Ridgefield Garden Club

On Saturday, May 18th, 21 volunteers pulled invasive English ivy at Abrams Park. Their effort opened up the woodland’s understory providing space and resources for the native plants living there to thrive.

El pasado sábado 18 de mayo, entre 21 voluntarios lograron retirar la invasora hiedra inglesa en Abrams Park, de manera tal que lograron abrir el sotobosque del bosque proporcionando así espacio y la obtención de recursos para que las plantas nativas que viven allí prosperen.
