July 24 Wintler Beach Cleanup

Thank you to the 38 volunteers who showed up at Wintler Park for our beach cleanup!

Volunteers removed 73 pounds of trash, over 110 recyclable cans and bottles, and 4 quarts of cigarette butts, preventing trash from entering the Columbia River keeps our waterways healthy. 

This event is held in partnership with the City of Vancouver.

Agradecemos a l@s  38 entusiastas voluntari@s que participaron en la limpieza de la playa de Wintler Park.

L@s voluntari@s recolectaron  33.1 kg de basura, entre los que iban 110 latas y botellas reciclables y 3.78 litros de colillas de cigarros, que de no haberlos recolectados habrían ido a parar a las aguas de nuestro hermoso Río Columbia.
