MLK Day

Project Info

Project Description

Everybody can be great....because anybody can serve. You don't have to have a college degree to serve. You don't have to make your subject and verb agree to serve. You only need a heart full of grace. A soul generated by love. -Martin Luther King Jr (1929 - 1968)

Every Martin Luther King Jr. Day we have our largest volunteer event of the year! Join us for invasive plant removal (even years) and tree planting (odd years).

Are you a community group wanting to participate? Email info@vancouverwatersheds.org

MLK Day 2018 will be here before you know it! Join us on January 15th, 2018 from 9am-12.

This year we will be removing invasive English Ivy from Blandford Canyon to make space for native plant to return to the site, and protect the trees from being pulled down by the weight of the ivy which climbs the trees.
