MLK Day

Project Info

Project Description

Everybody can be great....because anybody can serve. You don't have to have a college degree to serve. You don't have to make your subject and verb agree to serve. You only need a heart full of grace. A soul generated by love. -Martin Luther King Jr. (1929 - 1968)

Every Martin Luther King Jr. Day we have our largest volunteer event of the year! Join us for invasive plant removal (even years) and tree planting (odd years).

This year’s event will be on Monday, January 20, 2020 from 8:45am – 12:00pm. Tools, gloves, snacks, and water will be provided. Please remember to dress for the weather and wear closed-toed shoes. The minimum age for children to volunteer is 10 years old. Children from ages 10-14 will need a parent or guardian present to participate. Teens from ages 15-18 only need a parent or guardian signature on our release form.
