Project Description

Make a Difference Day is a national day of service. Spend your morning giving back and planting trees to make our urban environment a more beautiful and healthy place for all!

 

This year’s Make A Difference Day is on Saturday, October 26th from 9:00am – 12:00pm.

We will meet at the shelter at Leverich Park for registration and snacks. Volunteer orientation begins at 9:00am. From there, we will walk together to the planting site, a shuttle will also be available. 

Tools, gloves, snacks and refreshments will be provided. Bringing a reusable water bottle is encouraged. Please dress for the weather and wear sturdy shoes. Register here

Join us for another great Tree Planting event for Make A Difference Day! Every year we install thousands of trees and shrubs along Burnt Bridge Creek to improve the water quality and habitat of this great resource in our community. All ages are welcome to participate.

We will meet at the shelter at Leverich Park for registration and snacks. Orientation begins at 9am. From there we will walk together to the planting site (a shuttle will also be available). Gloves, tools, and morning snacks provided.
